UEC-RAIDR app update

The app continues to report hospital sites OPEL, ED and bed information, NEAS overall and departmental REAP level, ambulance activity (both enroute/at hospital/handover times) and call volumes including both 111 and 999) across the North East and North Cumbria.

More recent additions to the app include Cumbria Health  On Call (CHOC) key indicators, North Cumbria Integrated Care (NCIC) emergency department data, regional critical care capacity information and information from the Capacity Tracker on care home bed availability across the region.

Additional developments in the app functionality include automated Directory of Services Capacity Status, primary care OPEL reporting and the inclusion of some SITREP metrics such as Delayed Transfers of Care (DToC) due to be released imminently.

At the recent winter planning event on 23 September, system partners were asked to consider how the app could be used to better support the system and what actions should be triggered from pressure being reported.

Any organisations wanting to be included on the app to make their capacity and pressure visible, or any organisations already included and wanting to customise their current information should email necsu.uec-raidr@nhs.net.
