We would like to welcome two new members to our team.
Barbara Carr, Senior Resilience Planning, Escalation and Surge Management
Barbara is a registered general nurse who has worked in the NHS for many years including working as a senior nurse in many specialities. Latterly she was an Associate Director of Nursing and Quality at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.
In her associate director role, Barbara was the senior nurse for emergency planning, preparedness and resilience within the trust, with line management responsibility for the patient flow team so has a wealth of experience with the demands of emergency and elective activity.
Barbara is a course instructor and more recently has become a course director for the Hospital Major Incident Medical Management and Support Programme (HMIMMS), led by the Advanced Life Support Group (ALSG). Barbara has also taught these courses for many years, both nationally and internationally.
Susan Judge, Senior Resilience Planning, Escalation and Surge Management
Sue is a registered nurse who has worked in the NHS and the private sector for many years, working as a senior nurse predominantly in the community setting and was also part of the emergency planning, preparedness and resilience for community services team within North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.
Most recently, Sue was Clinical Quality Manager at North East Commissioning Support, and has worked extensively across the health, social care and private sector and is a specialist advisor to the Care Quality Commission.
